Skin Creme: Tallow from grain-free goats* rendered at Holdfast Farmstead, organic avocado oil, organic lavender and lemongrass essential oils.
Shampoo Bar: Tallow from grass-fed beef, rendered at Holdfast Farmstead, organic castor oil, organic olive oil, water, lye, organic lavender and peppermint essential oils.
Lip Balm: Tallow from grain-free goats* rendered at Holdfast Farmstead, organic coconut oil, local raw honey, organic essential oils.
*Why do we call our goat tallow grain-free, but not grass-fed? Goats are foragers, mainly on leaves. While they will eat some grass at various times of the year it is not their main diet. And so the farmer in me can’t call them ‘grass-fed’. It’s a technicality really. But there you have it!
